EDC Electric has completed many jobs over the years within the Water and Wastewater realms. These projects have been on both the pump station and treatments sides of the process and have been located around the state. Jobs have ranged from pump replacements to reconstructing wet wells and reconfiguring pipe.
Recent Projects
Ridgewood Water Pollution Control Plant
A new natural gas generator was implemented at the Ridgewood Water Pollution Control Plant. This project was particularly interesting because of the fuel utilized by the natural gas generator. Waste cooking oil is delivered to the facility on a daily basis which is sent through a digester system. This system breaks down the grease into a natural gas. The gas is scrubbed of contaminants and then burned by the generator, thus helping to power the facility. EDC was proud to be a part of such a ground breaking project.
